ISIC Plays a Key Role in the ESC-tension 2 Project’s Progress

ISIC is a core partner of the ESC-tension 2 project, which is currently at a crucial stage of development. By the end of May, the project will complete the third of its five planned Work Packages: the ESC-tension Student Toolbox. This phase is particularly significant, as it brings together all the tools designed to raise students’ awareness of the European Student Card (ESC) and its benefits.

As part of this effort, the team has developed 10 short videos illustrating various aspects of the “Student Journey” at university, highlighting how the ESC can enhance students’ experiences. These real-life use cases were carefully selected and shaped through collaborative work among the project partners, who previously conducted research analyzing the ESC’s impact at each stage of the Student Journey.

The content, initially produced in English, will soon be translated into the project’s other working languages: Italian, French, and Portuguese. To finalize this phase and define upcoming activities, project partners will meet at the University of Normandy in Caen on April 8. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue enhancing student mobility and access to ESC benefits!

The ESC-tension 2 Project, funded by the European Union, is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of the European Student Card (ESC) within the European Economic Area (EEA), with a strong focus on student engagement. The project aligns with the European Commission’s vision for a European Education Area by 2025, ensuring that students across Europe can fully benefit from the ESC Initiative.

The project is driven by a consortium of key partners, including Fondazione ENDISU (Italy), Normandie Université (France), Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal), ECCA – European Campus Card Association (Ireland), ESN – European Student Network (Belgium) and ISIC Association.
