The ISIC Event Prague 2023 took place at the modern Stages Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, from November 6th to November 10th. It was a special celebration for ISIC’s 70th Anniversary, bringing together the ISIC Community and its partners.

The Event officially started with a welcome reception hosted at Stages Hotel, graced by esteemed figures such as Mrs. Lenka Henebergová, a member of the rector’s board of Charles University, and Mr. Milos Milenkovic, Chairperson of the ISICA Board. Memorable moments featured inspiring speeches by notable figures, including video presentations by Mr. Nick Newland, President of the UNESCO-NGO Liaison Committee, and Biliana Sirakova, the EU’s Youth Coordinator.

Besides the annual general meeting and sessions dedicated to ISIC members, as well as empowering students through the Student panel, the emphasis was on informative discussions by esteemed ISIC partners. Esteemed organizations such as the European Students’ Union, Fondazione ENDISU, IDP European Consultants, Erasmus Student Network AISBL, European University Association, European Campus Card Association, NTT Data, and European University Foundation shared their expertise. This was followed by the European Student Card (ESC) panel, which included the online presence of Mr. Vito Borrelli, Program Manager at the European Commission.

The entire event culminated in a grand celebration of the ISIC 70th Anniversary at the Pilsner House, a high-tech beer Museum. Participants reminisced, celebrated, and looked forward to another successful 70 years of ISIC.
