ISIC is a partner in the EDU-Home project, coordinated by the EDUCatt Foundation. The project has reached a critical stage of development, with its third Work Package nearing completion. This phase focuses on the creation of the EDU-Home online platform, designed to provide a reliable and accessible accommodation search for students and individuals in mobility within Higher Education.
Currently, the platform is accessible only to project partners, who are conducting tests related to listing and administrative management. The test version has been completed in English, while evaluations in the additional project languages (Italian, German, and Greek) are still under review.
To finalize and consolidate the results of this Work Package, partners will meet on May 9 in Cyprus, hosted by Rivensco.
EDU-Home is an Erasmus Plus project, financed under the KA2 Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education and coordinated by the Italian Fondazione EDUCatt. The project aims to develop a platform for dialogue and cooperation among housing and mobility stakeholders, ensuring transparency, reliability, and timeliness, while addressing the asymmetries that currently make housing a significant barrier to mobility.
Alongside partners such as EDUCatt – Ente per il diritto allo studio universitario dell’Università Cattolica, ACRU – Associazione italiana dei Collegi e delle Residenze Universitarie, Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts, Sveuĉiliŝte u Dubrovniku, and Rivensco Consulting Ltd, ISIC is an active partner in the project.
